The bars around NYU span the Village's full range, from legendary dive bars on Bleecker to wine spots on MacDougal. Happy hour here serves a mix of students, professors, and downtown professionals, with prices that range from college-budget to cocktail-bar polished. The area is one of the most walkable drinking neighborhoods in the city, with dozens of options clustered within a few blocks of Washington Square Park.
