Midtown is the city's biggest office district, and happy hour here is a well-oiled machine. Bars, pubs, and restaurants run weekday specials timed precisely for the 5PM exodus. The scene ranges from Irish pubs near Grand Central to upscale lounges along Sixth Avenue. You won't have trouble finding a deal, but the best spots fill up fast. Come early if you want a seat.
