Kips Bay's happy hour scene leans heavily on Irish pubs and sports bars, with a few cocktail spots mixed in along Second and Third Avenue. It's a reliable weekday destination for the after-work crowd from the nearby hospitals and offices. Most deals run in the mid-afternoon window and the prices trend affordable. Not the flashiest neighborhood for nightlife, but exactly the kind of place where happy hour does what it's supposed to.
